Pump Aid is a water and sanitation organisation that tackles poverty by working with local communities in southern Africa. They do this by establishing sustainable supplies of clean water and safer sanitation provisions. The long-term effects of their work will ensure improved health and increased agricultural production. Pump Aid works in Malawi and Zimbabwe, they also have a pilot programme in Liberia. There is such a high demand elsewhere that they plan to expand into new African countries over the next five years.

R.J.L.F was formed in 1983 and is now run by three trustees. Namely, Bob Johns M.B.E (Roberts Father), Hazel Cartwright and Roy Cobbledick, in memory of Robert, son of Bob, who fought the disease for five long years but unfortunately lost the battle at age 11. His treatment centres were the Leukaemia, Cancer, Ward 5 at Freedom Fields Hospital in Plymouth Devon for children, (This has now been moved to Plymouth's main hospital, "Derriford"), and the 'Royal Marsden Hospital' in Sutton, Surrey. The money raised by the fund is divided between these two centres every year.

UNICEF is the leading children’s organisation, reaching children in more than 150 less-developed countries around the world. They work with local communities, organisations and governments to make a lasting difference to children’s lives. Almost 85 per cent of UNICEF staff work in developing countries. UNICEF believes that every child should have clean water, food, health care, education, and a safe environment in which to grow up. UNICEF upholds the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and works to hold the international community responsible for their promises to children.

Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of the rugby world. For 25 years Spoon has harnessed the spirit and values of rugby to give disadvantaged children in Britain and Ireland a chance to achieve their full potential in life. Over this time more than 350 projects have been supported with over £15million given in grants to national and local projects. Over 2000 fundraising events have been held supported by 10,000 plus social members. Funds raised have enhanced the lives of more than 500,000 children, young people and their families.
